Here's a question we get asked a lot during our hiring process: "What is it actually like to work at MCS?"
It's a fair question. We're a fully remote, bootstrapped software company founded in 2015, serving 400+ organisations across 30+ countries. We're a team of around 60 people β small enough that everyone knows each other, big enough that the work is genuinely global and ambitious.

Morning β Starting the day on your own terms
One of the first things people notice when they join MCS is the absence of a commute. We're a fully remote team- a pandemic hangover!
Our team members currently work from across India.
Mornings typically start with a check of Slack, project channels, and any overnight messages from our clients - we work with organisations in the US, UK, Singapore, and South Africa, so there's always something worth catching up on.
Stand-ups are short, focused, and respectful of people's time. Teams align on the day's priorities, flag blockers early, and get moving. No unnecessary ceremony.

Mid-morning β Where the real work happens
This is the deep work window. Developers are heads-down building whether that's a custom PHP solution, a React frontend, a mobile app, or an AI-powered feature for one of our clients in retail, fintech, healthcare, or education.
Our UI/UX designers are crafting interfaces. Our project managers and business analysts are in sync with clients, translating requirements into clear technical stories. Our marketing team is building content and campaigns. Everyone is working on real, live projects with real stakes.
What makes this environment different is the calibre of work on the table. MCS is known for taking on ambitious, custom-built projects. That means the problems are harder, the solutions are more interesting, and the learning curve never really flattens.
Afternoons β Collaboration across time zones
Afternoons at MCS often involve more touchpoints. Client calls, internal design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies. Our clients are spread across time zones, so there may be an overlap of an hour or two with international stakeholders but night shifts are not a thing here. We protect that boundary. If we have to cater to any special clients, we have confirmation from our team- no compulsion, we understand the significance of the biological clock.
Collaboration at MCS is built on trust, not surveillance. We use Hubstaff for time tracking; it helps us and our clients stay aligned in a fully remote setup, and it keeps billing transparent. But the culture is never about clocking hours for the sake of it. It's about getting great work done.

The Kaiwara spirit β grounded, focused, growth-oriented
Our registered office is in Kaiwara - a small, beautiful town about 70 km from Bangalore. There's something deliberate about that. We're a grounded, value-driven company that invests in substance. That spirit runs through everything.
We have an office with a capacity of around 60 people. Teams are welcomed if they wish to come and see us anytime.
We've been bootstrapped from day one and have grown steadily for over a decade. When you join MCS, you're joining a company that has been doing this quietly and well for 10 years and has every intention of doing it for more years.
Going forward, surely, we envision opening our branch with a city-centre office with a βfoosball tableβ ;)
