About The Role

We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst to work closely with clients and internal delivery teams across software implementation and client projects.

This is a client-facing role focused primarily on client management, operational onboarding, requirement gathering, business analysis and delivery coordination, with responsibility for ensuring product quality from a business and user perspective.


Core Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and build effective client relationships.

  • Understand client business processes, workflows, needs and requirements.

  • Gather, clarify and document business requirements.

  • Convert requirements into user stories, tasks and acceptance criteria for internal teams.

  • Coordinate with developers, QA and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.

  • Coordinate the operational aspects of client onboarding and implementation.

  • Track action items, dependencies, issues and implementation progress.

  • Keep clients informed about progress, requirements and open issues.

  • Support UAT and coordinate client feedback through to resolution.

  • Maintain clear documentation of requirements, decisions and implementation activities.

  • Ensure that client requirements are translated into a solution that works from the user's perspective.


Must-Have

  • Strong communication and client-facing skills. The ability to confidently participate in client conversations is essential.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into clear requirements.

  • Good understanding of software products and software development processes.

  • Good documentation and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work comfortably with both clients and technical teams.

  • Practical or academic exposure to software projects, through work experience, internships, academic projects or hands-on project work.

  • For candidates without a technical background, an MBA in IT, Technology Management or a related discipline, or equivalent exposure to software projects, would be relevant.

  • Freshers who demonstrate strong communication, logical thinking, software understanding and the ability to learn quickly will be considered.

  • Clients feel heard, understood and well supported throughout the implementation.

  • Requirements are captured clearly and translated into actionable user stories and tasks.

  • Internal teams have the context they need to deliver the right solution.

  • Onboarding activities, dependencies and client actions are well coordinated and followed through.

  • Issues and requirement gaps are identified early rather than reaching the client at the final stage.

  • UAT is organised effectively, with client feedback clearly captured and taken to closure.

  • The delivered solution meets the agreed business requirements and expected user experience.

  • Client implementations move to go-live with minimal avoidable confusion, rework or unresolved issues.

  • Over time, the person is able to independently handle multiple client discussions, requirements and implementation coordinations.
